At that time, I would say, very traditional popular synthetic perfumes prevailed, which did not help people stand out in any particular way. There was a need for something more unique, it could be said that they arose from the desire to create a perfume that not only smells different, but also has a deeper meaning, uniqueness and character, unlike mass-produced perfumes.

Another reason is that more and more independent perfumers appeared who did not want to create that traditional perfumery, they wanted to experiment, discover something unique, try something new, not to be guided only by traditional principles of perfumery. This gave birth to many new unique perfumes that began to fascinate people and create demand for a new niche.
