On Thursday, various media outlets reported that legendary engineer Adrian Newey would be leaving Red Bull at the end of the season. However, there are no official announcements on this topic yet, and the champion team itself claims that it does not have any information about the Briton’s departure and emphasizes that his contract is valid until the end of 2025.
“Adrian has a contract until at least the end of the 2025 season. We are not aware that he intends to join any other team,” said a Red Bull press representative.
Nevertheless, A. Newey can unilaterally terminate the contract and take financial losses. Therefore, his exit still seems very realistic.
