On March 27, two Round of 16 matches of Division A of the Regions Basketball League (RKL) took place, where Tauragės and Raseiniui clubs celebrated their victories.

The hosts dominated from the start of the match. Kęstutis Narušević’s students gained a 7-point lead (20:13) after the first quarter, and after continuing their successful work in defense, they accumulated an 18-point advantage (47:29).
After the break, “Kupiškis” had reduced the difference to 14 points (51:37), but the hosts quickly stabilized the situation and increased the lead to a record (59:37).
During the decisive 10 minutes of the game, the picture on the court did not change drastically, and the “Tauragė” basketball players delighted the gathered fans with their first victory in the playoffs.
Gvidas Galinauskas scored 17 points, Martynas Linkevičius scored 16, Justas Vazalis added 15 points.
For the guests, Giedrius Giedra scored 13 points, Tautvydas Alekna and Paulius Blieka scored 11 each, Benas Ilevičius added 10 points.
In the next match of the round of 16 of the A division, the “Raseiniui” club, which played an impressive second half of the match, triumphed. The basketball players of the Kazlų Rūda team did not recover from the cold shower offered by their opponents, and the guests managed to gain a double-digit advantage at the end of the game (92:82).
Having scored 61 points in the second half of the match, the “Raseiniai” team confidently finished the match and registered an impressive victory at the start of the playoffs.
