I.Tertelis explained that in Lithuania and Poland radicals are producing combat drones that should strike the most important objects of Belarus.
He testified that the KGB allegedly prevented military drone strikes from the territory of Lithuania on objects in Minsk and its surroundings.
The report did not provide further details of the alleged attack, nor did it specify its date.
V. Vitkauskas: nothing to do with reality
The head of the National Crisis Management Center, Vilmantas Vitkauskas, says that the information disseminated by the Belarusian services “about pseudo-groups allegedly residing in Lithuania and Poland, aiming to harm Belarus, is not new”.

“We have been hearing such narratives for a long time, they became especially active during NATO’s defensive exercises in the Baltic States, and Lukashenka spoke similarly at the beginning of March. Such statements of the Belarusian KGB can be evaluated as a continuous hostile provocation and an informational attack against Lithuania, which has nothing to do with reality. It can be estimated that they are also intended for the domestic audience of the country, as the “nation’s meeting” is currently taking place.
We would like to remind you that citizens of Lithuania traveling to Belarus are faced with increasing pressure and interrogations from the security services of this country, so there remains a strong recommendation to refuse any trips in this direction”, comments V.Vitkauskas.
“This is disinformation. In principle, this is nothing new. Obviously, this kind of intimidation is being seen for the first time. The state of Lithuania does not take any hostile actions against other states”, army representative Gintautas Ciunis told BNS on Thursday.
