The UK Prime Minister called the two countries the two biggest European military powers and the strongest friends of Ukraine and repeated the previous announcement that London would offer 500 million euros. a package of military aid to Ukraine worth £580 million.

“Poland and the UK are part of a growing wave of countries taking greater responsibility for our collective security,” Sunaks said, noting that Poland spends more of its gross domestic product (GDP) on defense than any other NATO ally.

He added that the UK is building frigates and a new defense system that will protect Polish airspace, and promised to deploy 16,000 troops to Poland next year. troops and Typhoon fighter jets.

“We will strengthen our cooperation in various formats so that we can work together on this extremely important issue of air defense,” R. Sunaks said.
