The club season of Matas Buzelis is over. Lietuvio is represented by G League “Ignite” (2-32) in the last away match of the regular season 102:113 (34:30, 15:25, 18:29, 35:29) lost to the Ontario Clippers (15-19).
Buzel did not compete in this match. The Ignite finished the regular season with the worst win-loss ratio in the entire G-League, so they will not be playing in the playoffs.
19-year-old Lithuanian in this season in avg. Collected 14.3 points (27.3 percent three-pointers), 6.9 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 1.9 assists in 32 minutes.
Buzelis played his strongest match against Windy City Bulls, when he scored 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks in 42 minutes.
It was the last overall match in the history of the Ignite club, as the NBA-sponsored youth team project is being discontinued.
