The aggressor continues to terrorize Kharkiv. The Russians were struck by aviation, 18 civilians were injured. Among them are four children from 3 months. up to 9 years of age.
Luhansk direction
Wedding ceremony. Conditional peace in the sector, local clashes are taking place.
Cremation. Heavy battles continue in the Ternai – Jampolivka section. Both sides are attacking, information appeared that the Ukrainians managed to push the occupiers to the east, but the situation is volatile.
When the Russian offensive stalls and Ukrainian units begin counterattacks, the aggressor deploys TOS1A thermobaric missile systems to the contact line.
Attempts to radically change the position with them have been recorded more than once and more than twice in various places on the front. And again, as usual, the Ukrainians destroy the systems that appear close to the contact line.
Lysychansk. The aggressor continues to try to press along the entire line of contact, thus creating a focus of tension for the Ukrainians around Syversk. Ukrainian forces maintain their positions.
Donetsk direction
Bachmut. Northern flank. Heavy fighting continues in the Bohdanivka-Ivanivsk section. Russians announce on social networks that Ukrainian defenders are preparing to retreat from Bohdanivka.
The truth is that half of it is controlled by the Russians, and half of the settlement is already “no man’s” territory. The main problem for the Russians is not the settlement itself, but the highlands to the north of it, which are controlled by the Ukrainians.
Avdijivka – Vuhledar. Northern flank. The Russians managed to advance in “no man’s” territory near Berdyčiai. The success is small, but one would not want it to become a trend and the occupiers manage to bypass the fortified defense area of Ukrainian units from the north.
Southern flank. The Russians are trying to build on their success at Novomychailivka and continue to attack intensively.
Ukrainian forces managed to defend themselves. One gets the impression that the scale of the battles near Krasnohorivka has decreased. If the attempts to invade the settlement from the south are unsuccessful, it is likely that the Russians will try to find weak points in the defense of the Ukrainians.
Attacking from the east is the shortest, but most dangerous way for the Russians. Here since 2014. there are well-equipped Ukrainian positions and a shelled area. One likely option is a Russian attack on Nevelsk, northeast of Krasnohorivka. The terrain is quite appreciative of this as you would have to attack down the hills, but the Russians probably avoid doing this because:
The occupiers are unable to break through the Ukrainian defenses near the Pervomaiské-Nevelské section, so the Russians have no opportunity to attack the heights to the west with a wider front.
Attacking south of Nevelska, the Russians likely fear a blow to their attacking forces in the flank.
With the weakening of the Russian group near Nevelska, it is feared that Ukrainian defenders may cut off the supply routes of the Russians trying to attack Krasnohorivka.
Zaporizhia direction
Clashes continue in the Robotynė wedge and near Staromajorska, with no changes in the contact line.
South direction
Without changes. Assessments appeared that the Ukrainians destroyed the Russian command post on the left bank of the Dnipro with AASM-250 HAMME aerial bombs.
