Probably even those who are not interested in the realities of Russia and do not follow their “entertainment” productions have already heard what a nightmarish product is now on the air in that country. I’m talking about the series “Slovo Pacana”, which, no matter how sad and angry, even in our country, which has been integrated into Western structures for 20 years, is widely searched on all kinds of pirate sites and watched. Ugly, shameful, pathetic! Wake up people – what are you watching?
The series is about young hooligans of the late 80s – early 90s, district musketeers, petty racketeers, about the life of an absolute outsider. In which, amidst all this mud and obvious one hundred percent evil, a clear narrative shines through – “this is a movie about friendship”. Well, I think you understand what kind of friendship it is, to represent each other, your street and district. About the kind of “friends” you really didn’t want to have anything to do with at school, if you were a well-behaved, decent teenager, not some refrigerator.
Doesn’t this format remind you of anything? Even as it reminds. All sorts of offbeat masterpieces like Brat with his famous catchphrase “might is right”. What is the truth? Doesn’t it seem strange when a character who is the purest thug talks about justice and denies that “justice” himself with all his behavior and lifestyle! But no, he became a folk hero. In Russia and not only (unfortunately).
Reminds me of the well-known “Brigada” as well, I think. A series that I couldn’t finish watching. I would start, a few episodes, and… It would get so disgusting that I couldn’t stand it until the end. It seemed like I was going to throw up from such glamorized frostiness – everyone take it and suck it up like candy. How can a righteous man endure this? And a lot of people persevered. He didn’t just endure – he worshiped!
Because here the film is also about friendship – true, representing yours to the end Chebra, patient, own It doesn’t matter that chebra – pure scum, evil, children of the devil, incarnations of Satan. But how romantic they are presented! Sweet, like from the covers of magazines, rich, tough, with some even “code of honor” in which black is exchanged for white… I would be a girl – well, really, maybe I would even fall in love with all those Sasha Belus and Cosmos (that’s the name here, if anything ).
And where are all those other series about bad “cops” and good thugs… I’ll compare a little with well-known and very popular Turkish series: there, the police are usually shown as respectable people doing their job. And the criminals are, as they should be, evil, who receive clear retribution in the series. There are all sorts of opinions about Turkish series, not everyone likes them, but the difference is obvious – there is no swapping of good and bad, as in Russian productions. There are no “gray zones” that are very popular in Russian films, when good and evil are mixed together as equal parts of life.
When I was in Turkey, I heard from the locals themselves that there is a lot of respect for state institutions and that a Turk, who has been “in the lamp”, is much more likely to go to the police to write a statement, rather than trying to “explain the relationship” himself. Let’s compare this with the common in Russia “it is necessary to find out according to at midnighthow bachelors, and it is not appropriate to write statements”. And, of course, that very popular anti-culture of “not complaining” (not complaining) that has permeated even here.
There is something very wrong in a country that glorifies evil, marginalization, and crime. In which everything happens according to some vague unwritten rules. Let’s remember the same Russian chansons, all kinds Butyrkawhich hardly have counterparts in any civilized country, except perhaps the United States gangsta rapper subculture. This is not normal. This is not healthy. A society that so blatantly confuses black with white is seriously ill.
And one of the consequences of that disease is wars with neighbors, not reckoning with them. Disregarding even the lives of your own countrymen! How many Russians have been sent to the meat grinder in Ukraine? That state is a monster that eats not only strangers, but even its own children.
And we in Lithuania are still very strongly infected by that prison half-breeds “culture”. There is no way to complain, when you get angry, you need to figure out the relationship like men (it is clear that power speaks), “ment roosters”, erected the tripod – dictatorship, stopped the drunk – punishment, masks had to be put on – genocide, rules had to be circumvented, some stupid unwritten codes had to be followed. Unfamiliar?
Familiar. And, unfortunately, that is probably why the same “Slovo pacana” is quite widely searched for and viewed in Lithuania. Because for many of our compatriots, even after 20 years of secure presence in the West, it is still close and interesting. All that anti-culture, evil and vileness. All kinds of fights chebra and the representation of one’s street, the friendship of real men (if it can be called friendship, and the status of real men is also very questionable).
I’m for friendship, I’m for support, everything is great. But not in such twisted ways and with such a twisted sense of morality. Is it moral to support those so-called “friends” when their way of life, to put it mildly, “slightly” deviates from morality, or rather – is a dark abyss of sins, a black hole? No, it’s immoral. A normal person would try to change such “friends”, and if it fails, 0- would turn away and say “I don’t know those friends”. But you wouldn’t go with them to beat other street boys!
And to show such series to people, to present it as romance, is terribly, cruelly immoral. Of course, ratings and money for developers. But for some, especially younger viewers, watching such pseudo-masterpieces threatens with deviations in the perception of the world in the direction of immorality and the resulting unpredictable consequences.
This is an obvious mutilation of the psyche of the masses. Could it be that this is being done with the Kremlin’s message to turn their entire great nation into zombies? And national minorities, of course – apparently, it’s not for nothing that the action of the series takes place in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, where both Russians and Tatars live separately in “one in Chebra“, together there they fight for their street, shoulder to shoulder.
To turn our citizens into unthinking zombies who do not feel sorry for themselves or their loved ones, crying mothers and fathers, who will be able to shed blood, if necessary, and go to their deaths in military conflicts “for the sake of chebra”. Could it be that they do it with this purpose? Perhaps yes, the Kremlin needs such a mentality, worldview. Especially now.
One thing is clear – in 34 years, we have not been able to fully free ourselves and get out of our minds that zekish “cultures” and half-breeds, and in Russia this process is only deepening. How will it end? It is obvious that already now – it did not lead to anything good. And there are no reasons for an optimistic scenario yet.
Don’t watch that brain poison, and especially don’t let your kids! Too dangerous intoxication. There have already been cases of children beating a classmate in the street in a town in the Vilnius region, because he “just sucker” – that’s what this kind of zombifying mud does! He does not develop in a young person anything good, nothing virtuous, nothing necessary. Only immorality.
And don’t forget that we don’t live in Russia! We are a Western country, Russia is the aggressor, and for a person from a cultured Western country to look for such a bandit product with Kremlin propaganda on some obscure (and also full of viruses) websites is not suitable at all. Don’t you have any shame or shame?
By the way, I haven’t watched this series and I’m not going to watch it, it’s a shame and it’s disgusting, I won’t pollute myself with such immorality. How do I know so much about him? I heard, I was horrified, I didn’t believe it, I only watched the trailer on YouTube. This was really enough – I threw up, thank you. There was a desire to somehow prevent all this. And those of you who watched and enjoyed it with pleasure – I am ashamed of you.
