VšĮ Alytus football club “Dainava” submitted an appeal regarding the 2024 April 26 LFF Disciplinary Committee decision. This news item refers to the decisions made by the LFF Disciplinary Committee regarding the incident in the match of the 9th round of the TopSport A League between FA Šiauliai and DFK Dainava.
VšĮ Alytus football club “Dainava” used the right to file an appeal in accordance with the procedure established in the Disciplinary Code.
After examining the appeal, the LFF Appeals Committee decided to reject this appeal and leave it to the LFF Disciplinary Committee in 2024. April 26 decision unchanged.
The decision of the LFF Appeals Committee takes effect from the moment of its adoption, but within 30 days from the date of delivery of the decision, an appeal may be made to the International Court of Arbitration for Sport, located in Lausanne, Switzerland, in accordance with the procedure established by the procedural rules of this court.
Regarding the Šiauliai team, the LFF Disciplinary Committee decided:
To impose a fine of EUR 1,500 (one thousand five hundred euros) on VŠĮ Futbolo Akademija Šiauliai, which must be paid by 2024. May 26
Regarding the Alytus team, the LFF Disciplinary Committee decided:
To impose a fine of EUR 2,000 (two thousand euros) on Dainava VšĮ Alytus football club, which must be paid by 2024. May 26
To grant the sanction of DFK Dainava matches without spectators to the team managed by VšĮ Alytus football club Dainava, applicable to the next 4 (four) matches of this team in 2024. In the LFF A League Championship, as the Club team plays both “at home” and “away”, DFK Dainava fans will not be able to watch the matches at the stadium.
To oblige VšĮ Alytus football club Dainava to inform the fans of the Club team DFK Dainava about the sanction of playing the match without spectators, which is applied to both home and away matches of the Club team DFK Dainava, and to ensure the implementation of this decision.
To oblige VšĮ Alytus football club Dainava to inform in 2024. The teams participating in the A League championship, with which the team DFK Dainava, managed by VšĮ Alytus football club Dainava, will play the next away match, about the sanction of playing the match without spectators applied to the club.
