Silvestras, who has been living abroad since the age of 14, considers himself a true Lithuanian: I’m afraid that not everyone understands the meaning of the referendum

A Lithuanian who grew up in Vilnius until the age of 14, emigrated to Spain with his family as a teenager, returned to Lithuania at the age of 22, spent another year in London and finally ended up across the Atlantic, where he currently lives.

Although he is no stranger to both Spanish and American culture and language, Silvestras returns to his native home, to Lithuania, quite often and nurtures its spirit in every possible way: he strongly supports Lithuanian basketball, even travels with the national team to foreign championships in other parts of the world, wears their attributes, wherever it is.

Silvestras, who lives in Denver, Colorado, has a surprising love for Lithuania: he not only passionately supports the national basketball team, but also participates in military exercises, reads our country’s news every day, and encourages Lithuanians living abroad to participate in the Lithuanian elections remotely.

However, he also sees some difficulties that can make remote voting very difficult for some, and the upcoming referendum on the preservation of dual citizenship seems important to him, but he shares a few concerns and fears on the show.
