Agn Bagoiut, who previously temporarily headed it, has been appointed as the permanent head of the V Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA).
In the summer, the winner of the competition will be appointed by the Minister of Energy Dainius Kreivys, the agency reported on Thursday.
A. Bagoiut’s agents have been in temporary management since July of last year, after Virgilij Poderis left the position of manager due to personal reasons. From 2021 she worked as an agency advisor.
The new permanent head of LEA is a Master of General Geography and Land Management at Vilnius University, she also graduated from the European Economics study program at the University of Southern Denmark.
LEA announced the competition for a new manager last summer.
LEA was created in 2019, after the merger of two state companies Energy Agency and Lithuanian Oil Products Agency.
