Scandalous Eduardas Vaitkus: explained that 5G connection will help control thoughts, and Lithuania never left the USSR

--

E. Vaitkus, a doctor who wants to become president, who once worked as an advisor to the Minister of Health, an advisor to the director of the Kaunas Clinical Hospital and a professor at the hematology clinic, tried to enter the Seimas with the Labor Party and later with “Drąsos kelius”.

This candidate is well known for his pro-Russian statements, hostile opinion on the permanent presence of allied soldiers in Lithuania.

In the program “Dienos pjūvis” of the news portal tv3.lt, the candidate said that the authorities are traitors, and, according to the candidate, Lithuania never joined the European Union, just as it never left the Soviet Union. The candidate also stated that the legal acts of the European Union are superior to the legal acts of Lithuania.

“In the documents signed in Athens, there is a lot written about how Lithuania must include this legal act, must this, must this, must this and so on many, many times. And after doing that, we become an integral part of the European Union”, said E. Vaitkus.

He added that he thought that the European Union would “force Lithuanian officials to behave more decently”, but, according to E. Vaitkaus, the European Union is now moving in the direction of centralization.

E. Vaitkus said that the NATO alliance is aggressive, and Ukraine joining NATO would mean declaring war on Russia.

After three days in charge of Kaunas clinics, accusations against Vaitkas were heard

Loud headlines can still be found in the media, speculating whether eavesdropping equipment could have been installed in the hospital for three days in 2011, when E. Vaitkas was acting director of the Kaunas Clinical Hospital.

When at that time E. Vaitkus had to replace Kęstutis Mazurkevičius, the then temporary head of Kaunas Clinics, for three days, he returned from vacation and started cleaning the office and found two “bugs” and a built-in listening device.

When “Kaunas diena” asked E. Vaitkaus to explain the situation, he denied the rumours.

“I deny that I am a Negro. I deny that I eat people in the evenings. And I say that I know this and that about the miraculous facts in this hospital, but I don’t know anything about who put it there, who did it or didn’t do it, whether those facts are 100 percent true or not,” he then commented to “Kaunas diena” .

Gintautas Dirmeikis, head of the Kaunas Center Police Commissariat, told the news portal 15min.lt at the time that the equipment found in the director’s office was similar to wiretapping equipment. A preliminary investigation was launched. The police found that the listening device was a toy, although it was possible to listen to conversations.

A few years later, in 2017, E. Vaitkus made extremely serious accusations against the Kaunas Clinical Hospital, claiming that the doctors made a gross mistake and killed a woman with cancer, when the doctor prescribed medication without reducing the dose, even though the platelet level was decreasing, as E. Vaitkus claimed. At that time, the candidate also addressed the then president Dalia Grybauskaitė regarding this situation. The allegations have not been confirmed.

He claims that the threat to Lithuania is not Russia, but the government and the legal system

E. Vaitkus widely shares his opinion that Russia is not a threat to Lithuania.

“Russia is not a threat to Lithuania. Like Latvia or Sweden. Regarding the USA – I am not guaranteed, because after 1947, when the CIA was founded, the USA overthrew more than 50 governments in various countries of the world.

Therefore, I do not agree with the delusions of those who say that Russia is a threat.

THREAT to Lithuania is caused by:

1. Seimas.

2. Legal system.

3. VSD

4. CEC

5. Foreign agents in Lithuania,” the candidate said on his Facebook account.

In the program “Dienos pjeuvis” of the news portal tv3.lt, the candidate claimed that the war in Ukraine was started by “the wrong line taken by the West in relation to Russia”.

“This war was started by the wrong line taken by our Westerners towards Russia. <...> I will quote the words of the Polish leader that this war is cheap <...>.

Its advantage is that it is cheap because American soldiers are “not dying” and instead this war must be continued because poor Ukrainians are dying. I feel sorry for both the Ukrainians and the Russians in this place, two brotherly nations are fighting each other without any purpose,” said E. Vaitkus.

Although he added that the military actions were initiated by the Russians, he insisted that Ukraine should come to an agreement with Russia.

E. Vaitkus said that the Crimean referendum, held in 2014, regarding Crimea’s accession to Russia, was legal.

“Polls show that the population wanted to join Russia,” said the presidential candidate.

During the pandemic, the public is scared too much, and the introduction of 5G will help control thoughts

Back in 2020, when the coronavirus was raging, an interview of E. Vaitkaus, published by the website manolieutuva.lt, spread on social networks.

In the interview, the candidate said that the mandatory wearing of masks for people who are not sick was a political decision to maintain fear and tension.

In the same conversation, he added that the mind control of citizens will soon begin.

“Although there is no way to do it now, technology is improving. 5G connection will be introduced and then mind control will be introduced”, said E. Vaitkus during the interview.

At the same time, a video in which E. Vaitkus said during Zigmo Vaišvila’s conference in the Seimas that the government’s decisions cause more harm to people than the virus itself spread on social networks.

“That’s why you need to wear masks, because masks will cause tension, anxiety, they are needed for this <...>. Wearing a mask is a political issue to cause anxiety,” said the candidate.

He added that by trying to control the epidemic with such measures, the Lithuanian authorities are contributing to the global interest of certain individuals or groups.

Vaitkaus’ program includes statements against Lithuania’s membership in NATO and denigration of Ukrainians

The initial election program of E. Vaitkaus ignited real passions – in March, the Central Election Commission (CEC) also reacted to it. In the program, the candidate unjustifiably called the authorities traitors, belittled Ukrainians and opposed Lithuania’s membership in NATO.

“The current traitors in power; And against this backdrop, the President of Lithuania kisses the flag of Ukraine, allowing Ukrainian citizens to publicly disobey Lithuanian laws; To participate in the activities of the aggressive military bloc NATO, which aims to destroy Russia, or not,” the CEC quoted the statements of E. Vaitkaus in the program.

The Commission asked E. Vaitkaus to remove the shortcomings of the program on March 7 and 13, but he did not do so, so the CEC refused to print the candidate’s election program. The candidate had previously indicated that he could not do this because he “does not understand the requirement of the CEC”.

On his part, at the commission meeting, E. Vaitkus denied that the program aimed to disparage Ukrainians, he said that he believed that Lithuania had the right to withdraw from NATO within 12 months.

After that, the candidate slightly changed the provisions of his program, but, according to the CEC, he did not eliminate the indicated shortcomings.

E. Vaitkus soon appealed to the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania (LVAT) against the CEC’s decision not to print his election program. LVAT obliged the CEC to resolve this issue anew and also awarded E. Vaitkas 1,000 euros in incurred litigation costs.

After this LVAT decision, the CEC decided to print the program of E. Vaitkaus in the presidential election publication.
