High speed, slippery road, or maybe lack of driving skills could be the reason for two accidents that happened in Vilnius on Wednesday evening.

The traffic incident at the intersection of Kalvarijui-Žvalgai streets was reported to the police at 22:00. 07 min.

It turned out that the BMW, which was traveling towards the center at high speed, went out of control.

The BMW “picked” a road sign and, crashing into an electric pole, jumped onto the bicycle path.

Fortunately, neither the BMW driver, nor his passenger, nor bystanders were injured in this accident.

When the officers arrived, they checked the sobriety of the guy who was driving the car (born in 2001).

It turned out that the young man was driving the car while sober.

The traffic accident declaration was filled out.

Less than an hour later, the Vilnius police received another report about the accident caused by another BMW car.

The 18-year-old driver’s out-of-control BMW drove off the road on North Street and crashed into electric poles. The impact caused two electric poles to fall to the ground and blocked the passage.

The incident was reported to the police at 10 p.m. 55 minutes

The police officers who rushed to the scene were met by the BMW driver. The guy was sober. He did not need medical help.

The young man said that the accident happened when he lost control of the car.

The traffic accident declaration was filled out. The site of the incident was cleaned up by employees of the company “Grinda”.
