The next Saturday (April 13) Vilnius was again shaken by Physicist’s Day (FiDi). The 56th edition of the festival organized by the students of the Faculty of Physics of VU, which, due to its deep traditions and size, has earned the status of Vilnius city festival.
Since the first in 1969 since the birth of FiDi, it has become an exceptional phenomenon that presents a number of innovations every year and does not stop evolving.
The most visible part of the celebration will be the traditional march in the center of Vilnius with Dinus Zaur, nicknamed the dinosaur imitation, built on the platform of the “GAZ” truck.
VU Physicists Days were held for the first time in 1969.
