In the series between the pupils of Vilnius “Ryto” and Kaunas “Žalgiris” system – equality. Vilnius at home after extra time 81:79 (11:23, 23:7, 18:21, 22:23, 7:5) broke the main rivals.
In the series up to three victories, the result became 1:1.
At the end of the fourth quarter, “Ryto-MRU” student Ignas Urbonas equalized the result (74:74), and the Žalgiris team did not make a two-point shot in the decisive attack and the team had to explain the relationship in overtime.
In it, the last points were scored almost a minute and a half before the end of overtime.
The decisive attack belonged to Kaunas, but both Jokubs Rudaitis’ two-pointer and Mantos Juzēnas’ three-pointer went by.
Ignas Urbonas shone in the ranks of the winners with 30 points, Artūras Vilutis scored 12, Gabrielius Jokubauskas added 11 points.
Mantas Juzēnas scored 24 points for the Kaunians, Jokūbas Rudaitis scored 18, Neds Raupelis added 10 points.
The third match of the series will take place on April 10 in Kaunas.

In the B division, one more quarter-finalist was revealed.
Kudos KKSC-“Kuršasta” 88:64 (22:16, 21:16, 22:18, 23:14) surpassed the VKM-NAPC team.
The Skuodas team won the series with the result 2:0.
The winner of the pair of “Trakai-MAGNUS” and “VDU-2” will await this team in the quarterfinals. At the moment, the Trakai city team is 1:0 ahead in the series.
For the winners, Gytautas Kibelkis and Denas Andriuškevičius each scored 14 points, Paulius Mitkus scored 12, Dominykas Vaitkus added 12 points.
For Vilnius, Mantas Liutkevičius scored 15 points, Titas Lavrinovič scored 13, Kipras Redeck added 9 points.
