Songs, dances, various educations, entertainment – all this was waiting for those who came to Alytus Jaunimos Park on Saturday, because the celebration “ALYTUS – ONE FAMILY” was held there, organized by the Child and Mother’s Day Center “KUTIS”.
Mothers, fathers, children, grandparents – there were really a lot of people at the celebration. Everyone could definitely find something to do, experience, try, see or just have fun here.
“Thank you all for not forgetting us and for gathering here at the Youth Park on the first Saturday of May. Thank you to all participants for joining every year. I wish you a nice holiday. When we started organizing it in 2010, we were just a small festive group, and today we are really a big family celebration”, – Rimantė Adomaitienė, head of the Child and Mother’s Day Center “KUTIS”, member of the Alytus City Municipal Council, congratulated those gathered, wishing them a good mood.
Alytus Vice Mayor Jurgita Šukevičienė also wished the families the best time together.
“The thirteenth family festival “ALYTUS – ONE FAMILY” once again confirms that we are really together, we really are one family. The weather is as if ordered, many activities, entertainment. Let’s be together, let’s have fun, let’s enjoy a beautiful holiday”, said J. Šukevičienė.
The people of Alysti and the guests of the city gathered for the celebration could see the musical performances of the performers and groups on the stage, visit the Knowledge Lawn, which surprised with various activities and educations. This year there was also a novelty – the discussion club “SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN THE CITY OF ALYTUS”. The discussion was moderated by Odeta Intė, head of the Pactum office of the Public Enterprise. Here it was possible to hear answers to questions relevant to families.
