Rita shares that her independent life began very early. “I got married when I was 18 years old and flew to Holland – Lithuania had just regained its independence. My husband was 30 years older,” says Rita.

She adds that she didn’t want to have children when she was almost 40 – her three children were born in four years. “All my life I have loved and longed for children. Now my children are grown up – the youngest Gabriel is 7, Daniel is 10 and Sophie is 11. As I said, I would have had children by the time I was 17. However, my first husband already had his own children who were older than me. At that time I was living and studying in Holland, finished my studies, worked in a law firm and told my husband – I want children! After all, he promised me that when I graduate, it will be like that. Unfortunately, he openly told me that although he loves me very much, he is not at the stage of life to be running around with babies in his arms again. Simply put, he suggested that I find a young man and start another family, because there will be no children with him,” recalls Rita.

The father of the children was recognized at first sight
