As reported by the Kaunas Fire Rescue Board, on Thursday, at 4:18 p.m., a report of a person was received on the Vandžiogala highway.

He complained that someone wanted to poison him, locked him in the apartment and took the keys.

When the firefighters arrived, the person inside the apartment door did not open, according to the police officers, the person may be mentally disturbed, and he kept two registered firearms in the apartment.

The police officers asked the firefighters to lift one of the police officers in a car lift to get inside the apartment.

The police officer who was lifted by the car lift entered the apartment himself through the window on the 5th floor and opened the door.

The person inside was handed over to medics.
