The basketball players of Istanbul “Anadolu Efes” (14-17) won a dramatic victory in the Euroleague.

Turkish team at home 85:84 (23:23, 30:17, 12:27, 20:17) defeated the Berlin club ALBA (5-26) and achieved the second victory in a row and the third in the last four matches in the tournament.

It was the eighth consecutive failure in the Euroleague for the German team.

The hosts dictated the fashion in the first part of the meeting and already had a 13-point advantage (38:25) in the second half.

However, in the third quarter, the visitors made an 18-0 run and overturned the result (55:58).

A fierce battle continued until the end of the match. With two minutes left, the Germans still led (79:81), but Elijah Bryant hit a free throw, Will Clyburn added five points in a row and took the initiative (85:81).

With 41 seconds left, Louis Olinde hit from a distance and reduced the difference to the minimum (85:84). In the next attack, W. Clyburn missed from a distance and the guests had their chance, but Martin Hermannsson’s shot was blocked by Tyrique Jones and preserved the victory for the Turks – 85:84.
