According to the preliminary data of the agency, the turnover of retail trade companies without value added tax (VAT) in 2024 in March amounted to 1 billion 583 million euros at the prices of that time. This turnover, compared to 2024 in February, after removing the influence of the season and the number of working days, it increased by 1.2 percent at comparable prices.

During the month, after removing the influence of the season and the number of working days, the turnover of companies selling food products increased by 1.8 percent at comparable prices, those selling non-food products – by 0.3 percent, and the turnover of companies selling automobile fuel – by 2.1 percent.

in 2024 March, compared to 2023 in March and after removing the influence of the season and the number of working days, the turnover of retail trade companies (without VAT) increased by 5.6 percent at comparable prices.

At that time, the turnover of companies selling food products increased by 6.3 percent at comparable prices, those selling non-food products increased by 5.1 percent, and the turnover of automobile fuel retail companies increased by 5 percent.

Turnover of catering and beverage companies without VAT in 2024. in March amounted to 121.4 million euros at the prices of that time and compared to 2024 remained the same in February.
