The manager indicates that the company’s most popular products currently belong to the category of clothing accessories. These include men’s wallets, men’s and women’s handbags, backpacks and belts.

“True, we constantly observe how the products of our other categories catch up with the most successful products in their sales,” says D. Stravinskas.

Finland stands out

He points out that the most popular products vary from country to country. In the Baltic countries – Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia – they are similar, but in Finland, buyers choose other products.

“In Finland, the most popular goods are not only clothing accessories, but also bathroom accessories and travel goods. We notice that Finns choose more expensive goods more often than buyers from other countries”, says the manager.

According to him, the expansion of the company to other countries was influenced not only by a greater flow of customers, but also by curiosity. “We wanted to try out the range, to find out buying habits in different countries. The most surprising thing is the average shopping cart of Finnish shoppers, which is significantly larger than in other countries. Here, buyers are really more demanding about the quality of goods”, says D. Stravinskas.

Attention to quality

“Deistra” tries to distinguish itself from other Pigu.lt sellers by looking for goods that are not yet traded in this Marketplace. “We try to be the first among our competitors to offer one or another product,” says the manager.

According to him, sales success is also determined by high-quality product presentation, high-quality product photos, descriptions, prices, and delivery speed. These are the most important aspects that customers care about.

“We are constantly looking for a balance between the quantity of goods and their quality. In many cases, it is better to present fewer products of high quality, which will definitely be bought, than to offer thousands of products with poor descriptions, photos, and unattractive prices”, states D. Stravinskas.

According to the manager, the “Fulfillment by Pigu” service, which is provided by the Marketplace, raised the sales volume of “Deistros” to a new level.

“We have been using the service since 2022 and it is the most proven tool that led to a jump in our sales. Last year, even 70 percent of all our orders were fulfilled through “Fulfillment by Pigu”, says D. Stravinskas.
