Visvaldas Matijoaitis, the mayor of Kaunas, says that the sale of Viin Group’s business in Russia, Belarus and other parts of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which he partly owns in the production and trade of uvine and other food products, took longer than expected due to interference in Lithuania.

V. Matijoaitis and Liudas Skierius each owned 50% of the shares of VG Holding, the manager of the Viin group.
