“Tragic news came from the front. “Our compatriot Denis Aleksandrovičius Lapinas died heroically in the zone of the special military operation”, according to the statement of the Russian group.
“UNIAN” indicates that on May 3 Ukrainian forces hit the command post where D. Lapin was from the HIMARS multiple launch system.
“Denis was born in 1986. January 23 in Volgograd. in 2019 he graduated from the All-Russia Military Academy of the Russian Armed Forces,” the statement added.
The father of the fallen soldier, the occupiers’ general A. Lapinas, led the Russian army group “Center”, which at the beginning of the large-scale invasion tried to occupy the territories of Chernigov, Sumy and Kyiv regions.
In the summer, it became known that A. Lapinas awarded the Zhukov medal to his own son Denis, who led the attack on Sumy and Chernigov.
