April 29 Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales are celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary and have released a never-before-seen photo of the wedding party to mark the occasion.

“It’s 13 years today!” is written alongside the photo that the couple shared on social networks.

The black-and-white portrait shows Prince William and Princess Kate smiling while the bride holds a stunning bouquet of lilies. Lilies were the favorite flowers of Queen Elizabeth II.

William and Kate’s wedding anniversary comes just a short time after the Prince of Wales returned to public duties, from which he briefly stepped aside following his wife’s cancer diagnosis.

The Princess of Wales shared a video on March 22 in which she addressed the public revealing that she had been diagnosed with cancer. This one was found during her abdominal surgery in January.

K. Middleton said that at first it was thought that it was not cancer, but after conducting tests, the truth became clear.

“I had major abdominal surgery in London in January and at the time my condition was thought to be non-cancerous. The operation was successful. However, tests after the operation revealed cancer. “My medical team advised me to undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy and I am currently in the initial stages of this treatment,” said the Princess of Wales.

She said that it was a shock when she learned about the disease. And the most difficult thing was to explain everything to the children.

“Of course it was a huge shock and William and I have done everything we can to deal with it and deal with it privately for the sake of our young family.

As you can imagine, this took a while. I needed time to recover from major surgery before I could begin treatment. But most importantly, we needed time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that they could understand and reassure them that I would be fine.

As I told them: I am feeling good and getting stronger every day by focusing on things that will help me heal in my mind, body and spirit.

Having William by my side is also a great source of comfort and reassurance. As is the love, support and kindness shown by so many of you. It means a lot to both of us,” Middleton said in the video.
