The video was posted on social media. The video shows an armored car that is completely covered in nets from above and on all sides.

The structure has only one entrance, a door at the back of the structure. Therefore, the only ways to get inside are to enter through this door or crawl/crawl through the gaps between the structure and the ground.

Such a design slightly increases the survival rate of an armored personnel carrier in the event of a kamikaze drone strike, but also greatly complicates and slows down the embarkation and disembarkation of troops – which can cost lives in battle.

This is not the first time that the Russians have installed massive cages on vehicles and armored vehicles to protect them during offensive operations.

It was recently reported that fighters of the Spartan brigade of the National Guard destroyed a Russian Ural truck in the Orichiv region, which was protected by an anti-drone “cage” along the entire length of the body – including the sides and top.

It was also repeatedly reported that the occupiers in the Donetsk region used a tank with a metal cover (which was quickly nicknamed the “garden box”) and an electronic weapon to protect against drones.

A new type of “gardens” that the Russians began installing on their tanks before the attack looks like a sheet metal frame that protects the top and sides of the war machine from drone strikes.

Judging from the picture, the main task of this structure is to protect it primarily from the impacts of FPV drones. For the first time, an enemy tank with such protection was used near Krasnohorivka.
