The two men, who fought for the presidency in 2020, are expected to face off in November in a rematch that polls show the American public is not enthusiastic about.

In an interview with CNN, Mr. Biden talked about the fact that Mr. Trump might not recognize the results of the vote: “He will definitely do that, and that is dangerous.”

Mr. Trump still falsely claims that he won the 2020 election, despite repeatedly losing legal battles.

“How many court cases did they have?” Supreme Court cases? All of them said that this is a completely legal election, – Mr. Biden said. “That’s Trump.”

“You can’t love your country only when you win,” he said.

Mr. Biden spoke in Wisconsin, an important state for him, where Mr. Trump also campaigned last week.

The former reality star, who is currently embroiled in a lawsuit over alleged payments to porn star Stormy Daniels, hinted to local media last week that he may contest the 2024 election.

Trump told Wisconsin’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that he would accept the results “if everything is fair.”

“If it doesn’t happen, you have to fight for the right of the country,” he told the newspaper.

Mr. Biden, 81, who is already the oldest person ever to serve as U.S. president, said America’s allies expect him to win a second term in November.

“Listen, I travel the world; do you know what other world leaders are saying? No kidding. 80 percent after important meetings [sako]: “You have to win […]my democracy is at stake,” he said.

Mr. Biden said that Mr. Trump’s comments on the campaign trail showed how he would use the presidency for his own purposes once he returned to the White House.

“He says […]that he will ensure that his attorney general prosecutes those he orders to prosecute, and if he doesn’t, he will be fired,” he said.

“He talked about prosecution in all areas. “I am your retribution.” What president has ever said anything like these things? But he is serious,” the president said.

Mr. Biden, who is trailing his presumptive rival in many opinion polls, said he was not worried and noted that the election is still many months away.

“I think I feel good about the trajectory of the campaign,” he said. – And you know very well that most people focus and decide only in autumn. There’s a lot going on and we’ll see what happens.”

Asked what advice his former boss, President Barack Obama, had given him about running for office, Mr. Biden said he was told to just “keep doing what I’m doing.”
