“I think that the Russian public must know the price of this war. It is known that civilian deaths are always terrible, no matter which side they are on. But the Russian public must understand that there is a war going on,” G. Nausėda said in the LRT radio debate.
The president, who is seeking a second term, was seconded by the prime minister.
“Ukraine is under attack. Very strange is the imagination of people who think that if Ukraine is attacked, then the war must take place only on the territory of Ukraine. Russia invaded Ukraine. The war not only can, but must take place on the territory of Russia,” she noted.
Since the start of the war, Ukraine has repeatedly attacked Russian oil refineries with drones.
