When the world’s most popular French carmaker, Renault, introduced the first generation Captur in 2013, the crossover was the company’s answer to the rapidly growing B-segment vehicles, suitable for urban environments and perfectly balanced for country roads. The creation of Renault immediately won the favor of buyers – more than 2 million units were sold in 90 countries of the world. units of the above model. Baltic buyers can now purchase the latest Captur, the price of which starts at 18,990 euros.

The new Renault Captur officially saw the light of day only today. m. at the beginning of April. Featuring a new, even more dynamic design both inside and out, the French creation has changed significantly from its predecessor. It adopts a new design language pioneered by Renault design chief Gilles Vidal. In this case, the new language that experiments with light and matter, strict lines and precise details creates a more stylish and dynamic effect.

The new Captur’s multi-faceted grille with the Nouvel’R logo and the taller, more horizontal bonnet convey this very aptly. The eye-catching headlights feature advanced LED technology and are standard on all trim levels. The rear of the car has also received a more modern look, which is represented by transparent taillight covers, a new logo and a redesigned diffuser.

Buyers can now choose from three trim levels: Evolution, Techno and the new Esprit Alpine version. Going hand in hand with sustainability, the creators of the new Captur made sure that there is no real leather left in the interior of this model. Therefore, new upholstery made from recycled fabrics has been selected here.

For the first time in the B-segment, the new Captur comes with the OpenR Link multimedia system on a new 10.4-inch vertical touchscreen available on all trims. Users can enjoy exclusive interactive content and new services such as Google and Android Automotive 12 integration, which comes as standard in all versions from the Techno level onwards. The aforementioned interface is not only fully customizable, but also compatible with the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay platforms.

Customers can choose from a wide range of accessories and body colors: Pearl White, Cassiopeia Grey, Etoile Black, Rafale Grey, Iron Blue and Flame Red, along with the new Rafale Grey. In addition, there is the option of choosing the customer-favorite two-tone combination, which allows you to combine Highland Grey, Etoile Black or the new Pearl Gray color for the roof and door mirrors.

Finally, the new Captur has been offered in a new trim, the Esprit Alpine, since its launch. A version inspired by the Alpine brand gives the design extra character and looks extremely sporty.

The new Captur is also available with the E-Tech full hybrid 145 hp engine, currently chosen by more than 41 percent. of all customers. This engine has excellent fuel efficiency and CO emissions2 emission indicators – 4.6 l/100 km and 105 g/km.

By the way, the manufacturer also offers a two-fuel combination – gasoline and liquefied gas – power drive. This engine is a greener and more economical alternative to a conventional engine, as compared to an analogous gasoline engine, it uses approximately 10 percent less fuel. reduces CO₂ emissions and can be driven up to 1100 km with two tanks.

The new Captur cars come with a choice of two engines in the Evolution version (TCe 90 or TCe 100 LPG) and four engines in the Techno version: TCe 90, TCe 100 LPG, TCe 160 EDC mild hybrid 12V” and “E-Tech full hybrid 145”. Cars in the Esprit Alpine version are only sold with the E-Tech full hybrid 145 engine.

Buyers in the Baltic countries can already place orders for the new Renault Captur, the price of the model starts from 18,990 euros. The first cars will be delivered in early summer.
