Palanga camping
Renovated a few years ago and even offering a train car as a place to stay, Palanga camping is really a great choice for those who want a non-traditional holiday at the seaside, surrounded by nature near the sea. The campsite is located in Nemirseta and welcomes both those sleeping in tents and campers, and the sea is 600 meters away.
Camping at Vištytis lake
If you want to see more remote places of Lithuania, stay at the campsite “Pušelė”, which is located right on the border, on the shore of Lake Vištytis. There is a museum “Metal Fantasia” on the territory of the campsite, and the altar of our Old Balti faith is hidden in the thick of the forest. You can also stay in wooden houses.
Camping in Vente Cape
The recreation and leisure center “Ventainė” is located on the shore of the Curonian Lagoon, on the picturesque peninsula of the Ventė horn. The main activity is a year-round hotel, but in the warm season, from May 1, you can also stay in a 3* campsite that meets European standards, which is fully equipped with 30 pitches for campers and 40 places for tents. It is convenient to reach Nida from this campsite, as passengers are regularly transported by catamaran during the summer season.
Nida camping
Every year, vacationers are surprised by the rising prices of accommodation in Nida, when one night costs as much as in a luxury resort in France. There is a solution for this – you can spend the night at the Nida campsite, where an adult’s stay costs 10 euros, and a tent pitch costs 8-12 euros, depending on its size. Nida camping is located halfway between the Curonian Lagoon (25 minutes on foot) and the sea (about 15 minutes on foot).
“Apple Island”
The unique camping site, established on a real apple orchard island planted by the famous Lithuanian naturalist Pranciškas Šivickis, has “brought” real foreign camping standards to Lithuania. The modernly equipped camping site in Lake Grabuosto near Molėtai offers recreation in cabins, tents or campers. The only access to the campsite is a narrow bridge. Since the campsite is in an apple orchard, there is no shortage of shade, there is a beach with a slide for children, and equipment for swimming in the lake can be rented.
Alytus camping
The newest camping site in Lithuania will open this summer – it has been in the capital of Dzūkija for several years and promises to welcome guests with all amenities. The campsite will be located next to the restaurant “Šašlykinė”, a favorite of Alytis residents and guests of the city, surrounded by a forest.
Private camping
Pasvalys is rarely included in tourist routes, but “Camping Pasvalys”, located in the city park, receives very good reviews as a great place for a break for the whole family. The station served the horse mail route between Riga and Karaliaučius (now Kaliningrad). The uniqueness of this campsite is the hippy atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the sunny nights.
Druskininkai camping
Many people don’t even know that there is a 200-place camping site in the center of the resort, near all attractions. Here you can not only pitch a tent, come with a camper, but also stay in mobile homes or even wigwams. The campsite, which is open during the summer, has a cafe, wireless internet, guests can come with pets, so it is not for nothing that it has been given a 4* rating.
Camping in Biršton
On the edge of the resort, surrounded by nature, near the Birštonas lakes, Žvērinčiaus forest and Vytautas Mineral SPA, the campsite is also unique with its houses with convex semi-circular roofs. There is also innovative Glamping, luxury large tents with electricity and amenities. There is a bar in the camping area, and nearby is the recently opened 12-meter high climbing tower “Smagu lipti”.
Camping at Dusias lake
If you want to travel around Dzūkija, it is worth staying at the camping “Vitrūna”, which is located on the shore of Lake Dusia, known as the Dzūkija Lagoon. The beautiful shore is suitable even for small children, and fishermen will enjoy the opportunity to catch a fish. There are also a number of tourist attractions nearby, the Metelis Observation Tower, the interactive Metelis Regional Park visitor center.
Camping in Vilnius
Camping Vilnius City is located at the foot of the exhibition hall Litexpo near the Neris. Near the campsite there is a kart track, a shopping center, cafes, and the center of the capital is also accessible by public transport, so it is a great opportunity to explore Vilnius.
Another camping site in the heart of the capital, in the Paupios district, Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping, from which attractions can be reached on foot. The campsite is famous for its artistic atmosphere and great concerts.
Kempin in Kaunas
The “Kaunas CampInn” campsite, located by Lake Lampėdžių, invites you to enjoy nature’s shelter, swimming and rest from the hustle and bustle of the city. The campsite is on the outskirts of the city, but close to the main road to the center, with public transport.

Camping in Ukmerge
A few years ago, River Camping invited guests to stay on the banks of the Šventoji river in the town of Šventupė near Ukmergė. There is no shortage of events at this campsite – concerts or movie nights are organized, and there is a playground for children.
Camping at the Curonian Lagoon

On the shore of Lake Zarasa, next to the Zarasa climbing park, you can stay at the Zarasa campsite. Boat, kayak and bicycle rental services are also provided here, and you can stay in cabins.

“Pajūrio kempingas” is located next to Girulių beach and only 7 km from the center of Klaipėda. The campsite has basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, and there is a bicycle path nearby.
