It was officially announced that the minute of silence is intended “to honor the victims of the terrorist attack in Moscow”.
It is interesting that such an action was held in one Euroleague match – the aforementioned match between Partizan and Olympiakos.
“Partizan brothers, friends from Olympiakos and Maccabi – thank you on behalf of all Muscovites and Russians. It is very important to us that in a world full of chaos, there are people who do not have another person’s grief. Let’s pray that nothing like this happens again”, the Moscow CSKA club, suspended from the Euroleague due to the third year of Russia’s bloody war in Ukraine, which has killed thousands, thanked on social networks.
Last week, at least 143 people were killed in a terrorist attack at a concert hall in Moscow.
The “Islamic State” (IS) claimed responsibility for it, but the Kremlin continues to try to shift the blame to Ukraine and the West.
