Vilnius “Rytas” announces that it has signed a long-term contract with a pupil of the Vilnius Basketball School (VKM) – Mantus Liutkevicius.
This season, M. Liutkevičius represented the Vilnius City Basketball School. The seventeen-year-old, who played in the offensive position, spent an average of more than 26 minutes on the court in the “Nostra.lt RKL” championships, scored 18 points, rebounded 3.3 balls and made 5 assists. The usefulness of Kėdainietis on the court reached 20.4 points.
M. Liutkevičius already wore the “Ryto” shirt in the FIBA Youth Champions League Championship, where he played an average of 24 minutes, scored 10.3 points, rebounded 2.8 balls, made 7 assists and won the championship title with the team.

I want to successfully complete the championships of the Lithuanian School Basketball League with the Vilnius Basketball School and to go to the World Championship with the Lithuanian national team, to take the highest possible place among my peers all over the world”, said the rookie of the “Ryto” system about his immediate plans.
The pupil of the Vilnius Basketball School also demonstrates a good game in the U17 and U18 championships of the “LIDL Lithuanian School Basketball League”. M. Liutkevičius scored an average of 19.1 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists in the “LIDL MKL” young U17 boys’ basketball championship, where boys under 17 compete. In the “LIDL MKL” young U18 boys’ basketball championship, where boys no older than 18 compete, Mantas also shows solid results: in 21 games played, Mantas averaged 13.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists productive transfer.
