Eight fighters will compete in the “Grand Prix” tournament, who will find out the strongest in one evening. In one evening, the winner will have as many as three fights.

The organizers also revealed some future opponents of the 36-year-old Lithuanian – Stefan Latesescu, Bogdan Stoica, Ibrahim El Bouni, as well as the winner of the duel between Mohamed Amine and Pascal Toure will participate in the tournament.

The last time S. Masloboev appeared in Glory was in February of last year, when the fight with Donegi Abena was scandalously stopped and the Lithuanian lost the championship belt.

During this break, he entered the ring twice in Lithuania, but he changed the weight category – he fought with heavyweights and won both times.

The same D. Abena and the current champion Tarik Khbabez, whom S. Masloboev has already beaten once, should definitely compete in the Grand Prix tournament.

Some time ago, the fighter Delphi on the podcast “Sportinė forma” said that such a tournament would be an interesting challenge.

“There are rumors about the eights. It would be another test for me – there are eight of the strongest in the world and there is a lot to do to become the champion. Then you can really say that you are a champion, because you have to win three fights in one evening, three hours. I have fought in this format many times before.

Sounds impressive. The thought sends chills through the body. But that’s what forces you to step out of your comfort zone and do that extra round at the gym. You want that eight,” he said then.
