The result of the series up to four victories became equal – 1:1. The next two matches will be played in Miami.

In the first meeting, the Celtics crushed their opponents by 34 points at one point and ended up winning 114-94, but this time the story was completely different.

The guests broke away from their opponents in the third quarter, when they scored 10 points without answering and built up a double-digit advantage, 82-70.

At the end of the match, the Celtics managed to reduce the 11-point deficit to six (96:102), but Caleb Martin hit a regular three-pointer and from that moment on, the hosts could not get closer to their opponents within one shot.

The Heat hit 23 of 43 three-pointers, a new club record in the NBA playoffs. The team was able to win without its leader Jimmy Butler.

We will remind you that last season, the Heat also started the playoffs from the eighth position, but went all the way to the NBA Finals.

Tyler Herro had 24 points (6/11 3-pointers) and 14 assists for the winners. Bam Adebayo also scored a double-double – 21 points, 10 rebounds.

Boston’s star duo Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum scored 33 and 28 points, respectively. The match turned out poorly for the Latvian Kristaps Porzingis, who scored only 6 points (1/5 doubles, 0/4 triples, 4/4 penalties).

Celtics: Brown 33 (8), Tatum 28 (8), White 13, Holiday 9.

Heat: T. Herro 24 (14 rebounds), B. Adebayo (10 rebounds) and C. Martin (5/6 treys) each 21, J. Jaquez Jr. 14, N. Jovicius 11 (9 rebounds, 6 assists).
