On Tuesday evening, Europe will be shaken by the first semi-final of Eurovision, during which Lithuanian representative Silvester Belt will take the stage. However, while the artist waits impatiently for his moment, he shared a sensitive letter that he dedicated to little Sylvester, who could only dream of such an opportunity.

“I am writing this letter to myself and imagine reading it as a child.

Hello baby Sylvester,

i’m you but from 2024. This year is the most special for you so far. There were many tears of joy today because you are so proud of yourself and so grateful for all the people around you. You called your mom and told her you loved her, and then you both cried for a good 15 minutes. You’ve spent your whole life feeling like you’re not good enough, like you’re only doing everything mediocre. I want to thank you for your patience, I want to hug you and tell you that all the best things are yet to come. Your big dreams will come true. Don’t stop and keep dancing in the dark,” wrote Silvester Belt on Instagram.

As a test of sincerity, Silvester Belt’s letter also attracted the attention of other famous people. Karolina Meschino, Jessica Shy and a group of the singer’s fans expressed their support for the representative of Lithuania in the comments. They all wished him luck and said that Silvester Belt is a true inspiration.

“I am very happy that I have many people who send me strength. And everyone in the team takes care of me, organizes medication if needed, so I’m really in good hands. The most important thing is to find time to sleep, to rest enough hours a night, to spend more time in peace, because you have to communicate with a lot of people and it is tiring. Being alone in a room helps,” said Silvester Belt in Malmö on Sunday.

People.lt reminds that Silvester Belt with the Lithuanian song “Luktelk” will appear in the first semi-final of “Eurovision”, which will take place on May 8. The Lithuanian artist will appear as the third number.
