Portugal’s Eurovision hope, the performer Iolanda, surprised many by stepping on the turquoise carpet with a unique look. The woman wore a net-like black dress, which made netizens speculate whether she was completely naked under the light material fabric.

Speaking to the media, Iolanda revealed that her image was inspired by her Eurovision song “Grito”. And the dress was specially designed for her by the clothing company “Trashy Clothing”.

“Before this, I always wore white, so I thought going with black would be a bit of a contrast.” I wanted to bring in some darkness, because my song is also about trying to find my inner light and fighting demons. And demons are always associated with darkness and black color for me”, – People.lt said Iolanda.

The image of the representative of Portugal was thought out very carefully – even her nails stood out.

“My nail designs are made by Shafak from Turkey. I often use them several times because everyone should use plastic again,” Iolanda testified.

And when asked if she was completely naked under her net dress, the woman remained mysterious and joked while giving the answer.

“People will have to turn their heads because I won’t reveal anything,” laughed Iolanda.
