The Knicks fans who flooded Philadelphia upset J. Embiid, the unstoppable J. Brunson led the Knicks to the third victory in the series

The New York “Knicks” club won a dramatic victory in the NBA Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

Jalen Brunson was unstoppable for New York. He scored 47 points (16/26 doubles, 2/8 triples, 9/11 penalties) in 43 minutes of play, grabbed 4 balls, made 10 assists, blocked a shot, but fouled twice and made 1 error.

He had the best game of his career in the playoffs.

Joel Embiid had 27 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

Brunson’s two-pointer with 56 seconds left extended the Knicks’ lead to six points, the largest margin of the final quarter.

The 76ers were still within one three-pointer, but J. Brunson’s free throws with 5 seconds left sealed New York’s victory.

The fifth match of the series will be played in New York.

Interestingly, even though the Knicks were playing on the road, their fan base that came to Philadelphia dominated the chants over the 76ers fans, which made Joel Embiid extremely unhappy.

The Knicks fans were louder until the end of the game, and the MVP chant in the arena was for J. Brunson, not J. Embiid.

“Philadelphia fans are tireless and very passionate, but seeing and hearing the Knicks fans here was really cool and amazing,” Brunson said.

“I love our fans, but it was sad to watch. I don’t blame them, but it was disappointing,” Embiid said, adding that he knows Knicks fans often travel by train to away games. “But I’ve never seen what happened today, and I’ve been here for 10 years. Yes, it annoys me a bit, especially since Philadelphia is considered a sports city. I don’t think it should be. It is not good”.
