Famous artists mourn the sudden death of a famous bassist: they remembered their last conversation

The news of the musician’s death that spread across the country on Friday morning shocked those who knew him. Many of them are famous performers. On social networks, they shared heart-wrenching memories of the deceased and did not hide their grief.

Sensitive words addressed to Paul were shared by Algirdas Grudinskis-Grūdas on the Facebook account of the social network.

“Thank You for the musical journey, the opportunity to know You, the super musicians and the faith in what we tried to create!” Have an easy flight, my friend”, wrote artist Algirdas Grudinskis-Grūdas next to the song for which the deceased composed music.

News portal lrytas.lt the performer said that he was grateful to the deceased for the joint project created together.

“Our project was created on his initiative, for which we thank him very much. We lost a wonderful person and musician”, he did not hide his sadness.

When asked how their last conversation was, A. Grudinskis-Grudas answered:

“I had the last conversation a long time ago, about a year ago. He had my electric guitar. We all play music very intensively, so we rarely got to talk. However, Paulius always had a positive attitude, a good mood, and a smile. He knew how to enjoy life. This is how I will remember him – energetic, creative, friendly and sincere”.

“Skamp” member Vilius Alesius did not hide his disappointment over the loss.

“It’s hard to believe… Rest in peace, Paul. And thank you for a good time on stage, on tour and everywhere else… Condolences to loved ones and everyone who knew you,” he wrote.

Artist Erica Jennings also shared memories of the deceased.

“Very sad news. Paul had a bright smile and a big heart. He was a great man and a fantastic bass player. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace Paul,” wrote artist Erica Jennings.

Singer Marijonas Mikutavičius also spoke briefly about the loss of his comrade.

“Rest, restless soul,” he wrote next to a photo of the deceased on social networks.

According to the police department, on Thursday, around 5 p.m. 25 min., the body of a dead 42-year-old man was found on V. Druskis Street.

According to preliminary data, the man fell out of the window of the apartment. A pre-trial investigation has been launched to determine the cause of death.
