Eurovision winner Loreen was left without 12 points

It seems that the performance of the Swedish representative did not leave the commission members indifferent – the commissions of Albania, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, the Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine and the United Kingdom gave her a maximum rating of 12 points.

The commissions of Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Norway and Romania gave Loreen the second place and another 10 points. The least – 4 each – was awarded by the commissions of San Marino and Sarkartvel, and there were no commissions that did not award points to Sweden.

However, it is hard not to notice the wave of disappointment on social networks – a significant number of Eurovision fans are convinced that Finland’s representative Käärijä deserved the victory more with the song “Cha ha cha”, which the fans gathered at the Liverpool Arena sang even as the votes were announced.

It is easy to predict the audience favorite not only from the audience singing the song of the Finnish representative in the Liverpool arena, but also from the votes on the table. Loreen did not receive the maximum 12 votes from the audience in any country, and the representative of Finland had no competitors according to the audience’s votes.

The maximum audience votes for him came from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, San Marino, Serbia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. It seems that the Finn’s performance enchanted the Lithuanians as well – he received a maximum rating of 12 points from the residents of our country.

However, Loreen was crowned winner with 340 votes from the panel and 236 votes from the audience (583 in total), leaving Finland’s Käärijä in second place with 376 votes from the audience and 150 votes from the panel (526 in total).
