The Second Police Commissariat of Vilnius County Chief Police Commissariat, Vilnius City, May 7. began a pre-trial investigation into the possible extrajudicial action of Barbora, interfering with the activities of the trade union.

At the end of January, May 1st trade union (G1PS), announcing that it represents the couriers of Barbora, will apply to the General Prosecutor’s Office with a request to start a pre-trial investigation into the possible illegal action of the employer, hindering the trade union’s activities. The initial complaint was rejected, but the district court of the city of Vilnius wanted to re-examine it.

The second police commissariat of the city of Vilnius will evaluate the material anew and decided to start a pre-trial investigation, informed Emilija vobait, chairman of G1PS.

As G1PS informed in January V, Barbora’s employees, who are fighting for their rights, face resistance from the management. Es, after the change of the wage system, the wage has decreased significantly, and the work schedules are made without taking into account the interests of the employees.

Employees complain that there is no time for lunch and other breaks. Therefore, together with G1PS, the employees discussed how to organize and collectively solve employee problems.
