On Tuesday evening, Lithuanian representative Silvester Belt (Silvestras Beltė) won a place in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest. Now it has become clear in which part of the final we will see the representative of Lithuania.

As announced by the official page of Eurovision, after the first semi-final, each performer drew lots to find out in which part of the grand final they will appear – in the first or second half.

We will see Silvester Belt in the first part of the final. He will be joined by representatives of Ireland and Luxembourg in this part.

The place can also be chosen by the producer, which means that the broadcaster can decide where in the queue the artist will be.

After the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest, the ten contestants went to the official press conference and answered questions from the media.

Silvester Belt said his biggest challenge at Eurovision was sleeping.

The representative of Lithuania was also asked about whether sending a song in Lithuanian would not hinder his chances of winning.

“At first, I thought the same as most Lithuanians, who said: ‘We need to send English songs…’, but the whole world kept repeating that the Lithuanian language is beautiful,” he said.

Yesterday, the audience saw fifteen performers on stage, of which Croatia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Ireland, Finland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Cyprus, Serbia and Slovenia made it to the finals.

Australia, Poland, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Iceland did not win a ticket to the finals.

The second semi-final will be held on May 9. on Thursday, the other Baltic countries – Latvia and Estonia – will appear in it.

The grand final of “Eurovision” is on May 11. on Saturday.
