From May 11 to 19, a night cinema from a car will be held in Klaipėda, where 10 films of different genres will be shown on a giant 8×12 m screen. Event attendees will be able to choose from romantic comedies, horror, family, action, fantasy, and more. genre films.
It is one of the most awaited events of Klaipėda residents, full of surprises. Before the start of the movie, the audience participates in contests, checking whose sound signal is louder. Last year we did instagram “roasts”, checked participants’ instagram profiles and publicly commented on them (with permission), and a few years ago we organized a hologram horror movie. This year we also promise prizes and little sweet surprises that will enrich the Drive-in cinema experience.
Cinema from the car originated in the United States. We joke that it was this entertainment that led to the birth rate. Well, in Klaipėda, this event is a great opportunity to meet long-lost friends or invite your crush to a long-awaited date or just spend time with family.
Drive-in cinema from the car is also attractive because you can take your favorite snacks and drinks into the car, adjust the car seat and the sound to your convenience.
This year we are bringing more films than usual and we are coming to Klaipėda with the slogan – “Drive-in cinema for all tastes”. And we haven’t forgotten the cartoon fans, we’re bringing you the family-friendly movie The Ghost of Canterville Castle. The ticket price for one car is 14.90 EUR (the number of people in the car is not limited).
