This year, the three-day city festival of Alytus will take place on June 14-16 in Dainai slėni and its surroundings. Just before the official opening of the “Su gaivia bangele” festival, a colorful and cheerful festive procession “The Green Future of the Green Land” will be held.

The festive procession will move along Jotvingiai Street, through the heart of the city – Town Hall Square – and along Basanavičius Street towards the Valley of Songs, here at 6 p.m. everyone will be welcomed by the brass band festival “Per Dzūkija I carry a song”, and at 7 p.m. the grand opening of the city festival “My city, dear Alytau” will take place.
