The exhibition features the best drawings of elementary school students in Kaunas, in which they revealed their imaginary Czech Republic.

3D Brno architectural exhibition of buildings
The exhibition displays 7 buildings in Brno printed in 3D format, reflecting the modernist architecture of Brno. It will be possible to see: Tugendhat villa, Hussite church building, cafe “Era“hotel “Avion“Vesna Vocational High School for Women, House of Two Young Men, crematorium.

at 2 p.m. Competition-battle of minds “Brainstorming about the Czech Republic“
On the initiative of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, a competition-battle of minds will be held on 9–For 10th grade students. Participants will be asked questions about the Czech Republic from various fields: history, art, culture, modern state and politics.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic organizes an interactive session 5–For 6th graders about the Czech Republic. During the lesson, interesting facts about this country, similarities between the Lithuanian and Czech languages, contemporary popular Czech cinema and literature will be presented.

12 o’clock The official opening concert of the 30th anniversary of cooperation between Kaunas and Brno
Military Art Ensemble of the Ministry of National Defense of the Czech Republic “ONDRÁŠ“ concert “Travel from one region to another“. 6 p.m. Czech film “Baba with ice“, dir. Bohdan Slama (2017)
Best of 2017 Czech film of the year, which won the “Czech Lions” award in Karlovy Vary. In the film, the director analyzes emotional and social relations in the smallest part of society – the family. Their formation, uniqueness and hidden inner conflicts are reflected in the story of a woman who, after her husband’s death, continues to help and serve the families of her grown-up sons.
The film is in Czech with Lithuanian subtitles.

The young musicians of the city of Kaunas will perform the most famous works of Czech composers. The concert will feature the works of Antonin Dvorak, Frantisek Xaver Dušek, Bedrich Smetana, and other famous composers.
