On Wednesday, 1:24 p.m. a report was received that smoke was coming from an apartment on Partizanų Street.
When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke coming from the apartment on the first floor.
According to the Kaunas Fire Rescue Board, an attempt was made to enter the apartment through the balcony, and the protective bars were cut with a circular saw.
At the same time, there was a knock on the door of the apartment, the owner opened it after hearing it.
It turned out that the smoke from the apartment turned out to be caused by food.
The woman who was taken out of the apartment was handed over to medics, as was the dog. No one was hurt.
There was no smoke detector in the apartment.
