Having defeated the Chinese in a competitive battle, the Lithuanian national team is one step away from gold medals

The Lithuanian national team simply dominated the attack and won 14:2 in the third quarter alone based on shots on goal. In general, the Lithuanians shot 35 times, while the Chinese – only 15.

This victory helped the Lithuanians secure silver medals.

In the first half, the Lithuanians managed to score first. In the fifth minute of the match, Markas Kaleinikov scored his fourth goal in the championship.

In the 6th minute of the match, after a rude action by the opponent, the Lithuanians gained a numerical advantage, but within two minutes, ours could not score.

Later, the Lithuanians dominated the pitch and although they failed to score, they made almost three times as many shots in the first half alone (15 vs. 6).

In the second half, the Chinese were a bit more active and had more dangerous chances. In the second half of the half, the Lithuanians played in the majority twice in a row, but even that did not help them make more shots than the Chinese.

At the beginning of the third quarter, the Lithuanians organized a quick attack, the spearhead of which was Paulius Gintautas (40:53, rez. Ugnius Čižas and Edgaras Protčenko), whose shot went to the Chinese goalkeeper, but the puck flew over the goal line and the Lithuanians took a 2-0 lead.

At the very end of the third quarter, the referees awarded a penalty to the goal of the Chinese national team, and Martynas Grinius managed to outsmart the goalkeeper of the Chinese national team and scored the third goal – 3:0!

The Lithuanians had no major problems in the first three matches and defeated Spain 3:0, beat Estonia 6:1 and defeated the Netherlands 3:2.

Unbeaten in the championship, Ukraine has scored 27 goals in the championship and conceded just one own goal in a 6-1 win over Estonia. Lithuania, for its part, has already scored 15 goals and conceded three.
