The company “Genetic Resources” carries out breeding of promising meat and dairy cattle, seed breeding of cereals, fiber and oil plants, experimental, educational and trial economic activities and preserves and breeds Lithuanian local rough-wool and black-headed sheep.
The company’s areas of activity according to the volume of sales: crop production – 43%, milk – 42%, cattle – 10%, sheep – 4%.
One of the company’s divisions, where cattle are raised and crop production is developed, is located in Panevėžys district, Upytės village, Ėiškių st. 8. The second unit, which specializes in sheep breeding, is located in Pavartyčių village, Radviliškis district, Arimaičių st. 24.
In addition to the complexes located in these units, the company also manages 140 units. agricultural land plots with a total area of 168 hectares. The company rents over 1,600 ha of land plots from the state and individuals.
