The slope of Mindaugas “Maximas” is collapsing, but there is no danger to visitors – MadeinVilnius.lt

Byra entrance to Mindaugo St. the “Maxima” store. In this case, the municipality will no longer help and will not offer the “Grinda” crew to fix the entrance. However, according to representatives of the shopping center, the entrance will be fixed soon.

Residents and shop visitors noticed the crumbling side of the street. In the photo we can see the damaged sideboard – part of it is simply not there. According to “Maxima” representatives, no one had entered the curb. It just wore out.

“We apologize for this temporary inconvenience. We know about it and react. The curb has naturally worn down. We had planned the cleaning works a long time ago, but they were prevented by the bad and cold weather”, says Indrė Trakimaitė-Šeškuvienė, head of the Communication and Corporate Relations Department of the Maxima shopping chain.

Maintenance work will take place weather permitting. According to the representative of “Maxima”, the curb should be repaired by the summer and visitors will again be able to comfortably use the entrance to the parking lot, located on the 2nd floor of the store.
