When they saw what was happening in the Alytus district, they contacted the police: the sight left them speechless

The mannequins, which are normally used in shops to display clothes, were fixed in Simne, at the turn to Žuvinti. Many drivers who drove to Simna from the Krosna side on Sunday saw the above-mentioned scene.

The news began to spread among the local residents as well, who speculated on who could have thought of such an act.

The police were interested in this event

“As soon as I received information about such a case, we reacted immediately – the people of the ward went and took those parts of the mannequins. We are guessing that they were attached to the road sign during the night from Saturday to Sunday, as residents say that it had not yet happened on Saturday night.

We don’t know who did this, but we guess that someone thought of it as a joke in such a strange and incomprehensible way. We kept the parts of the mannequin because we have some ideas as to where they came from. Who knows – maybe they were stolen,” said Vladas Čeponis, the elder of Simno.

Since the above-mentioned image drew people’s attention, the photo was distributed on social networks, in this case the Alytus police officers were also interested, who are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Such a case can be treated as a minor violation of public order: Article 481 of the Civil Code. 1 d. Obscene words or gestures in public places, insulting people, other intentional actions aimed at violating public order and seriousness of people.
