On May 1, the “Rimi” shopping chain is changing the working hours of some of its physical stores. The changes will take effect in 3 chain stores in Vilnius, Lentvary and Druskininkai, so customers will be able to shop during the spring-summer working hours. According to Eglė Krasauskienė, head of public relations and corporate responsibility of Rimi Lietuva, such changes are carried out every time, taking into account the changing trends of customer flows, which are determined by the warmer time of year, when daylight hours are longer.

Working hours will be extended in three stores

According to Eglė Krasauskienė, head of Rimi Lietuva’s public relations and corporate responsibility, such corrections of store working hours are carried out by constantly monitoring people’s shopping trends.

“In the warmer season, these trends and customer flows are different from the winter season: the spring-summer working time regime is returned, because in the cold season, different customer needs were met, that is, to shop a little earlier. We are now working to ensure that our stores continue to operate according to the needs and wishes of our customers. For example, in winter it was common for customers to visit stores earlier, and now we notice, as summer approaches, that the flow of customers just increases in the late evening hours”, says E. Krasauskienė.

She also calls attention to the fact that although most of the stores of the shopping chain will continue to work in normal mode, in response to seasonal changes, customers from Vilnius, Lentvaris and Druskininkai will have the opportunity to shop one hour longer.

“Lentvaris (Lentvaris st. 61A) from May 1 it will be possible to shop on weekdays and weekends from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., in Vilnius (Vikingų st. 3) – every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and in Druskininkai (22 Vilniaus al.) from Monday to Thursday and on Sundays, the store will be open for customers from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays it will be open an hour longer, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.,” says the representative of the retail chain.

The priority is hassle-free shopping

The manager of public relations and corporate responsibility of the retail chain notes that one of the main aspirations of the company is to give every Rimi customer the opportunity to shop in the store of their choice without any interruptions.

“It is important for us that every person who shops with us leaves in a good mood, so we always pay attention to the trends in the shopping flows of individual stores. And after the changes in working hours, we will continue to monitor the situation in the market and the changing needs of customers. Taking this into account, we will plan the future opening hours of the stores accordingly. In addition, it is worth bearing in mind that you will be able to shop conveniently at any time, using the services of Rimi.lt online store”, reminds E. Krasauskienė.

Currently, 89 Rimi retail chain stores and e-shops are operating in Lithuania. shop “Rimi.lt”. The company has almost 3,300 employees. Rimi Lietuva is part of Rimi Baltic, a subsidiary of the Swedish retailer ICA Gruppen. ICA Gruppen is the leading retail company in the Nordic region with a focus on food and health.
