Together with Bjork and Sigur Ros, the extravagant GusGus are among the top three Icelandic artists in the world. Dubbed the innovators of electronic music, the team has also created dance versions of works by Depeche Mode, Bjork, Moloko, and Sigur Ros, which have gained great popularity. In his biography “GusGus” has twelve studio albums and more than three dozen singles, has sold more than 700 thousand album records worldwide, and the number of views of the YouTube channel is approaching 20 million.

It’s hard to even count how many times the group has performed in Lithuania, but one thing is obvious – their fan base is growing and expanding every time, because the performances organized by “GusGus” are truly exceptional. These Icelanders are top-class professionals and true aces of the stage, capable of mesmerizing the audience from the first minutes and maintaining a fantastic mood until the last moment. More than one fan of the group will say that “GusGus” are unique in every sense, and each of their visits to Lithuania becomes a huge celebration for all lovers of electronic music.

Every time we return to Lithuania as a company of old friends, we will see the “GusGus” trio on stage – these are its two founders – composer and producer Biggi Veira and charismatic vocalist Daníel Ágúst, who won the title of the best Icelandic pop singer. A few years ago, Margrét Rán Magnúsdóttir, the vocalist of another Icelandic band Vök, was added to the group, whom her witty colleagues call “the new member of the circus troupe”.

The artists who organize unpredictable live performances can be called professionals of musical eclecticism – masterfully mixing dance music with electronics, hip-hop with techno, funk with house, they constantly experiment and never stop boldly playing with sounds.
